Abstract

A service tool wireless access management system (10) includes a wireless access interface (32) and an equipment service system (20) comprising at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to enable the wireless access interface responsive to a wireless access request initiated through a service tool, establish a wireless communication session with the service tool through the wireless access interface, and disable the wireless access interface responsive to a wireless communication termination event.
