Abstract

A bobbin (25) and rewinding means are inserted into a pot (12) through an opening (23) of the pot (12). Next, a contact step (S4) is performed. Respective elongated members (73) move in a horizontal direction. In a pot (12) in which yarn breakage has been detected, the elongated member (73) is lifted up in advance, and therefore the elongated member (73) is pressed into contact with an inner wall (22) of the pot (12). Next, a moving step (S5) is performed. The bobbin (25) and the elongated member (73) are raised. As a result, a tip end of the elongated member (73) is pressed into contact with a cake lower end (28b).
