Abstract

The present disclosure discloses a positive active material for a rechargeable lithium battery and a positive electrode including the same, and the positive active material for a rechargeable lithium battery includes a first positive active material and a second positive active material, wherein the first positive active material includes at least one nickel-based lithium composite oxide and the second positive active material is represented by Chemical Formula 2 and has an average particle diameter of 300 nm to 600 nm.
