Abstract

This is to provide a stretchable film having excellent stretchability and strength and excellent water repellency on the surface of the film, a method for forming the same, a urethane resin used for the stretchable film and a silicon-containing compound as a material of the urethane resin. A silicon-containing compound represented by the following general formula (1), wherein, R1,R2, R3, R4, R5, and R6 each represents a linear, branched or cyclic alkyl group having 1 lo 6 carbon atoms, a phenyl group, a 3,3,3-trifluoropropylgroup or a group represented by —(OSiR7R8)/f— OSiR9R10Ru; R7, R8, R9, R10 and R11 are the same as those of R1 to R6; “n” is an integer in the range of 0 lo 100; A represents a linear or branched alkylene group having 3 to 6 carbon atoms; and “m” is an integer in the range of 1 to 3.
