Abstract

An inkjet printing apparatus (1) includes a print head (80) ejecting ink, a tank (14) reserving ink to be supplied to the print head (80) and a joint unit (30) being capable of connecting the print head (80) and the tank(14) to each other. The joint unit (30) has a connecting portion (34) for supplying ink to the print head (80) and a shaft (36) that is rotatable by a drive source so as to move in an axial direction. The connecting portion (34) moves together with the shaft (36). The print head (80) includes a head joint (82) connectable to the connecting portion (34) and an engaging portion (81) engageable with one end of the shaft (36). The shaft (36) is rotated to be engaged with the engaging portion (81) so that the head joint (82) and the connecting portion (34) are connected to each other.
