Abstract
A load-handling vehicle 10, comprising a body 100; a boom 25, pivotally mounted to the body at a rear end region 29 so that the boom can pivot up and down about an axis extending laterally with respect to the vehicle, wherein the boom has a load carrying implement 32 attachable at a forward end region thereof; a steerable ground engageable propulsion arrangement 13,16; an electrically powered drive 20 for the propulsion arrangement; a platform 42 positioned at the rear of the body and to the side of the boom; a battery pack 50 positioned on the platform.
