Abstract

The present invention refers to a coolant distributor (10) for a battery module housing (20) with a hollow profile (11) enclosing a coolant channel (13) and a plurality of coolant junctions (14), each extending through a first portion (15) of the hollow profile (11) and providing a fluid connection between the coolant channel (13) and a coolant port (16). The invention further relates to a battery module housing (20) with a bottom plate (21) comprising a plurality of embedded coolant ducts (22) and a coolant distributor (10) according to the invention that is welded to the bottom plate (21), such that each of the plurality of coolant ports (16) is aligned with one of a plurality of inlet openings (23) of the coolant ducts (22). The present invention further relates to a battery system housing (40), comprising a plurality of battery module housings (20) according to the invention and a plurality of pipe couplings (30) for interconnecting adjacent battery module housings (20), and to the pipe coupling (30).
