Abstract

Present invention relates to a fire swing door system (510) and a method for controlling said fire swing door system. The fire swing door system (510) comprises a swing door leaf (D1) supported for pivotal movement (550), an automatic door operator (30) for causing movements of the swing door leaf (D1) between a closed position and an opened position of the fire swing door leaf (D1) along an opening angle (Φ) in a direction of a first side of the swing door leaf (D1) and a control arrangement (20) for controlling the automatic door operator (30), whereby the control arrangement (30) comprises a controller (32) and a plurality of sensors (S1...Sn), each sensor being connected to the controller (32). The first sensor (S1) is configured to monitor a first zone (Z1) for detecting when a person or object occupies a space near the first side of the swing door leaf (D1) and a second sensor (S2) is configured to monitor a second zone (Z2) for detecting when a person or object occupies a space near a second side of the swing door leaf (D2).
