Abstract

A lens apparatus used by attaching to an image capturing apparatus, the lens apparatus comprising: vibration detection means configured to detect vibration; reception means configured to receive first motion information and reliability information from the image capturing apparatus; acquisition means configured to acquire a correction amount based on second motion information converted from the first motion information using information of the lens apparatus, the vibration detected by the vibration detection means, and the reliability information; and image stabilization means configured to perform image stabilization control based on the correction amount.
