Abstract

An air-bag comprising: a top side (3); a bottom side (4); a face side (2), extending between the top side and the bottom side; a rear side (34), substantially opposite the face side; a body part (7), defined between the front face and the rear face, and positioned adjacent or close to the bottom side; and a head part (11), defined between the front face and the rear face and adjacent to or close to the top side, wherein: the body part is divided into at least two chambers by a first tether arrangement which extends between the front side and the rear side and is connected both to the front side and the rear side; gas may flow between the two or more chambers; gas may flow between the head part and the body part; and the front face extends further in a lateral direction in the region of the head part than in the region of the body part.
