Abstract

The invention relates to a method, preferable a computer-implementable method, for preparing, by a computing device (1), time related data from a medical device (3, 4) comprising the steps of computing a time difference between a synchronized time of the computing device and a time of the medical device connected to the computing device, wherein the synchronized time of the computing device is synchronized with a reference time provided by a time server (2); comparing the time difference with a predefined condition; importing or not data with a time stamp from the medical device depending on the comparison and generating, if imported, a converted time stamp from the time stamp of the imported data and based on the synchronized time of the computing device.
