Abstract

<div notation="docdba" type="abstract" xml:lang="en"><p>A connector (4), a connector assembly, an aircraft fuel breather system and an aircraft wing are provided. The connector (4) connects a breather pipe (7) or float valve (90) to a hat section stringer duct (2) attached to an aircraft panel (1). The connecter (4) has a bridge (24, 25, 26) to bridge over the duct (2) and to cover an aperture (53) in a wall (52) of the duct. The bridge (24, 25, 26) has a flange (22, 23) on either side for attachment of the connector (4) to the panel (1). The connector (4) has a seal (31) to seal the bridge (24, 25, 26) to the duct (2), an aperture (29) defined in the bridge (24, 25, 26) and a flow controller connector (27) to connect and provide fluid connection between the connector (4) and pipe (7) or float valve (90). The assembly comprises the connector (4), the duct (2) and aircraft panel (1) and the fuel breather system includes one or more fuel tanks (16, 18, 19, 20), a breather pipe (7) and a vent to atmosphere (108).</p></div>
