Abstract

An analysis chip device (42) comprises a first unit (44) including a sample introduction section (47) through which a sample (80) is introduced, and an analysis section (68) at which analysis of the sample (80) is performed, and a second unit (46) including a storage reservoir (52A) in which a specific liquid (90) is enclosed. The first unit (44) includes a first coupling portion (50) and the second unit (46) includes a second coupling portion (56). The first unit (44) and the second unit (46) are integrated by a connection of the first coupling portion (50) and the second coupling portion (56). Thereby, a channel for the specific liquid (90) from the storage reservoir (52A) to the analysis section (68) is connected. The first coupling portions (50) and the second coupling portions (56) are a combination of a protrusion and a recess having shapes that fit together with each other, and one of the protrusion or the recess is formed from a material of higher pliability and elasticity than a material of another of the protrusion or the recess. Thereby, leakage of the specific liquid (90) from a coupled location between the first coupling portion (50) and the second coupling portion (56) is prevented.
