Abstract

There is provided a gear motor (100) in which an input shaft (12) of a speed reducer (10) and a motor shaft (60) can be easily joined to each other. The gear motor (100) has a motor (50) and the speed reducer (10), and has a joining member (70) located between the motor shaft (60) of the motor (50) and the input shaft (12) of the speed reducer (10) . At least one shaft of the motor shaft (60) and the input shaft (12) has a first hollow portion (12b) penetrating in an axial direction. The other shaft of the motor shaft (60) and the input shaft (12) and the joining member (70) are joined to each other by a bolt (90) exposed to the first hollow portion (12b).
