Abstract

A magnetic fire seal for a nacelle may comprise an exterior surface (324) configured to form a sealing interface (330) and an interior surface (322) opposite the exterior surface (324). A fire-resistant material (326) may be disposed between the exterior surface (324) and the interior surface (322). A magnet (328) may be located at the interior surface (322) proximate the sealing interface (330). A portion of the fire-resistant material (326) may be located between the magnet (328) and the exterior surface (324).
