Abstract

A transmission 1 comprises: an input shaft 10 connected to a driving source 2; an output shaft 20 parallel to the input shaft 10; and a plurality of gear trains G1 to G6 for forward gears between the input shaft 10 and the output shaft 20, the output shaft 20 is equipped with a final drive gear 28 that drives a differential gear 6, the plurality of gear trains G1 to G6 for forward gears includes fixed gears 11, 12, and 23 to 26, and loosely fitted gears 21, 22, and 13 to 16, synchronizers 40 to 60 are provided so as to be adjacent to the loosely fitted gears 21, 22, and 13 to 16 on a same shaft as the loosely fitted gears 21, 22, and 13 to 16, and the final drive gear 28 is disposed in a region in a axial direction that overlaps with the predetermined synchronizer 60 that corresponds to the predetermined gear train G6 among the plurality of gear trains G1 to G6 for forward gears on the output shaft 20.
