Abstract

The invention is directed to a sealing device (1) comprising a waterproofing layer (2) comprising at least one thermoplastic elastomer P1 and an outer layer of non-woven fabric (3) directly adhered to at least portion of the second major surface of the waterproofing layer (2) through thermal bonding, wherein the outer layer of non-woven fabric (3) comprises at least one polymer P2. The invention is also directed to a method for producing a sealing device, to the use of a layer of non-woven fabric comprising or essentially consisting of polypropylene fibers for reducing blocking of a waterproofing layer comprising at least one polypropylene-based thermoplastic elastomer, and to a method for covering a roof substrate using the sealing devices of the present invention.
