Abstract

A safety system and method for implementing presence detection. The safety system (200) can include a receiver (240) that is configured to receive a signal from a transmitter (230), and a detection module (210) that is configured to detect a signal strength of the signal. Embodiments can also include a processor that is configured to compare the signal strength of the signal with a signal strength threshold, and a task module (210) that is configured to perform a task based at least in part on the comparison.
