Abstract
A food storage system (10) is disclosed. The system (10) can include an appliance (12) having a cabinet (14) defining an interior (16), the interior (16) comprising at least one of a shelf (18), compartment (20), or drawer (22) configured to store at least one food item (24), a vision system comprising at least one imager (26) configured to record image data related to the at least one food item (24) stored within the interior (16), and a controller (72) in communication with the vision system. The controller (72) can be operable to generate an augmented reality representation of the interior (16).
