Abstract

A generator (10) comprises a housing (28) defining an interior (34) and fluidly separating the interior (34) from surrounding ambient air, at least one of a rotor (49) or stator (51) located within the housing (28), a cooling circuit (64) passing through at least a portion of the housing (28) to cool the interior (34) and recirculating a coolant having a density greater than the ambient air, and a jet pump (44) having a motive fluid conduit (50) fluidly coupled to the cooling circuit (64), a transport fluid circuit (40) fluidly coupled to the ambient air.
