Abstract

Provided is a display device (1, 101, 201) having a structure that can alleviate an external force applied to a front panel (5) and reduce bending stress acting on a display cell (12).In a display unit (10), a display cell (12) and a backlight device (13) are provided in a bracket (11). A support member (4) is arranged on the side of a display screen (AV) of the display unit (10), and the support member 4 is provided with a support piece (22) that can be elastically deformed in a front-rear direction (Z1-Z2 direction). The front panel (5) is bonded to the bracket (11) of the display unit (10) by a first adhesive layer (6) and is bonded to the support piece (22) by a second adhesive layer (7).
