Abstract

The present disclosure relates to device for controlling a laundry treating apparatus, and the laundry treating apparatus having the same , comprising an input unit (100) configured to receive a signal for an operation command, an operation unit (200) configured to perform the operation according to the signal, and a display unit (300) configured to display information related to the operation, the device comprising: an operation controller (410) configured to receive power for driving the laundry treating apparatus from an external power supply source and control the operation unit to control the operation of the laundry treating apparatus; a display controller (420) configured to be driven by the power transferred from the operation controller and control the display unit to display the information related to the operation of the laundry treating apparatus; and a driving controller (430) configured to be driven by the power transferred from the operation controller and control a power supply to each of the input unit, the operation controller, and the display controller (420) according to a driving state of the laundry treating apparatus, so as to control an operation of each of the input unit (100), the operation controller (410), and the display controller (430).
