Abstract
An inner structure (24) is within an outer structure (22). A shield mount (68) of a shield (62) is attached to the outer structure (22). A sleeve (70) of the shield (62) extends from the shield mount (68) through an aperture (108) in the outer structure (22) to a distal end (72) of the shield (62). The sleeve (70) is mated with a port (34) at the distal end (72) through a slip joint interface (110) where a cylindrical sleeve surface (112) of the sleeve (70) contacts a cylindrical port surface (114) of the port (34) of the inner structure (24). A fluid transfer tube (64) extends from an inner tube end (80) through a bore (74) of the shield (62) and at least into the port (34) to an outer tube end (82). An inner coupling (86) is disposed at the inner tube end (80) and mated with the inner structure (24) through a cone seal interface (116). An outer coupling (88) is disposed at the outer tube end (82) and attached to the outer structure (22).
