Abstract

A fastener system for securing a component to a structure is provided. The system includes a pin portion (48) and a clip portion (32). The pin portion (48) has a head (54) and a shaft (58). The clip portion (32) has a head engagement flange (34) and a retainer flange (36) configured to receive a fastener (46) that extends along a first axis. The clip portion (32) and the pin portion (48) are configured for engagement with one another in an engaged position, and in the engaged position the pin portion shaft (58) extends along a second axis non-parallel to the first axis.
