Abstract

The invention relates to moisture curing hot-melt adhesive compositions comprising at least one silane-functionalized poly-α-olefin P and a reaction product RP comprising a silane-functionalized polyurethane prepolymer. The reaction product RP is obtained by reacting one or more polyisocyanates with one or more polyester block copolymers followed by reaction with at least one mercaptosilane. The invention is also related to the use of the adhesive composition as an assembly adhesive, laminating adhesive, or as adhesive for building of sandwich elements, to a method for bonding substrates to each other, and to the use of the reaction product RP as a crosslinking agent in a moisture curing adhesive composition.
