Abstract
The invention relates to a method of repairing a damaged spar cap (40) of a wind turbine blade (10) of a wind turbine, the damaged spar cap (40) comprising carbon fiber-reinforced plastic and the method having the steps of: (a) removing a damaged carbon fiber-reinforced plastic part from the damaged spar cap (40) to obtain a corresponding recess (43) in the damaged spar cap (40), (b) applying an adhesive (60) to the recess (43), (c) fitting at least one patch (50) comprising carbon fiber-reinforced plastic into the recess (43), and (d) joining the at least one patch (50) with the spar cap (40) to obtain a repaired spar cap (40).
