Abstract

According to one embodiment, a rotating electrical machine (1) includes a stator (12) and a rotor (14). The rotor (14) includes a rotor core (24) including embedding holes (34), permanent magnets (26), a first end plate (2), and a second end plate (5). Each of the embedding holes (34) includes a loading region (34a), an outer peripheral space (34c) and an inner peripheral space (34b). A first guide groove (G1) of the first end plate (2) covers one or more outer peripheral spaces (34c) and one or more inner peripheral spaces (34b). The second end plate (5) exposes all the outer peripheral spaces (34c) and all the inner peripheral spaces (34b) which are covered with the first end plate (2) .
