Abstract

The disclosure relates to a communication system (100) for providing communication within a cellular network (101), in particular a 5G communication network, the communication system, comprising: at least one communication terminal (110) comprising a global identity, wherein the at least one communication terminal (110) comprises a terminal-side conversion table (111) for translating the global identity into a temporary identity, wherein a corresponding conversion table (131) is hold in a central location of the cellular network; a network device (120) configured to connect the at least one communication terminal (110) at least temporarily with the cellular network (101) to an extended communication terminal (112) for processing applications of the at least one communication terminal (110) and to assign a global identity to the extended communication terminal (112), wherein the network device (120) is configured to derive the global identity from a network-side conversion table (121) converting global identities in the cellular network (101) to temporary identities of extended communication terminals (112) according to a conversion scheme that enables unique utilization of temporary identities within the cellular network, wherein the network-side conversion table (111) has a central representation (131) in the cellular network (101) that allows identity management in the cellular network (101) ensuring that the at least one communication terminal (110) appears for external parties with different identities.
