Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a system (1), comprising: an implantable medical device (2), wherein the implantable medical device (2) comprises an ultrasound transducer (20) configured to receive an ultrasound wave (U), a packaging (3), wherein the packaging (3) encloses an internal space (30), wherein the implantable medical device (2) is arranged in the internal space (30), and a device mount (4) arranged in the internal space (30), wherein the implantable medical device (2) is fastened to the device mount (4) in a releasable fashion, and wherein the device mount (4) contacts an inner side (31b) of a portion (31) of the packaging (3) and forms an acoustic coupler configured to pass an ultrasound wave (U) applied to an outer side (31a) of the portion (31) of the packaging (3) to the ultrasound transducer (20) of the implantable medical device (2).
