Abstract

A fixing device (105) includes a first rotation section (41) and a second rotation section (42). The first rotation section (41) includes a first rotating member (19) and a first belt (43). The first rotating member (19) is rotatable about a first rotational axis (19J). The first belt (43) is caused to rotate by rotation of the first rotating member (19). The second rotation section (42) includes a second rotating member (20). The second rotation section (42) is opposed to the first rotation section (41) in a first direction (Y) and allows a medium to be sandwiched between the first rotation section (41) and the second rotation section (42). The second rotating member (20) is rotatable about a second rotational axis (20J). The second rotation section (42) is disposed allowing an angle of the second rotational axis (20J) with respect to the first rotational axis (19J) viewed from the first direction (Y) to be variable.
