Abstract

An outboard motor (100, 200, 300) includes a first cooling water passage (10, 210, 310) through which first cooling water (L1) including water outside an outboard motor body (101a) passes to cool a first cooling target (11, 12, 202, 323, 324) including at least one of fuel in a fuel tank (23, 323) and an electrical component (11, 12) other than an engine (1), and a first pump (7) that is an electric pump (7) configured to pump the first cooling water from an outside of the outboard motor body and flow the first cooling water into the first cooling water passage.
