Abstract

A cooler (200) for a work vehicle (10), in particular an agricultural harvester, is provided. The cooler (200) includes at least one cooler core (210), a cooling fan (220) associated with the at least one cooler core (210) to produce a stream of air (A) across the at least one cooler core (210), and a dust removal assembly (230, 700) including a filter (231, 651, 751) associated with the at least one cooler core (210) such that the stream of air (A) passes through at least one collection surface (232) of the filter (231, 651, 751). The cooler 200 is characterized in that the dust removal assembly (230, 700) includes a suction channel (331, 631, 731A, 731B) placed such that it does not substantially interfere with the stream of air (A) passing across the at least one cooler core (210), a blower (332, 632, 732) fluidly coupled to the suction channel (331, 631, 731A, 731B) and configured to produce a suction region (S) in and adjacent to the suction channel (331, 631, 731A, 731B), and a filter carrier (250, 650) configured to carry at least a portion of the filter (231, 651, 751) through the suction region (S) such that particles (437) captured by the filter (231, 651, 751) are pulled into the suction channel (331, 631, 731A, 731B). A work vehicle (10), such as an agricultural harvester, carrying such a cooler (200) is also provided.
