Abstract

A dish washer is provided. The dish washer includes a tub, a base which is disposed below the tub and forms a space below the tub, a sump which is disposed below the tub, a washing pump which is disposed below the tub, and an air jet generator which has a venturi shape including an air inlet formed on one side so as to receive a portion of the water discharged from the washing pump and form air bubbles in the water, and includes an inlet open downward and a outlet formed above a bottom surface of the tub. The air jet generator includes a tub mounting portion which fixes an upper portion to the bottom surface of the tub and a base fixing portion fixing a lower portion of the air jet generator to the base.
