Abstract

A blade outer air seal assembly (104) includes a blade outer air seal (106) that has a plurality of segments (105) that extend circumferentially about an axis and are mounted in a support structure (110) via a carrier (112). At least one of the segments (105) have a first hook (120) circumferentially spaced from a second hook (122). A base portion (124) extends from the first hook (120) to the second hook (122). The carrier (112) has a cavity (172) on a radially inner surface between the carrier (112) and the base portion (124).
