Abstract

A gas turbine engine component includes a first surface (201; 301) and a second surface (203; 303). The component further includes a dilution hole (200; 302) defined by the first surface and the second surface. The component further includes a first effusion hole (202; 306) and a second effusion hole (208; 312) each having an inlet (204, 210; 308, 314) defined by the second surface and an outlet (206, 212; 310, 316) defined by the first surface such that the outlet of the first effusion hole is located nearer to the dilution hole than the outlet of the second effusion hole.
