Abstract

Some embodiments are directed to a computer-implemented neural-network method to represent a state of a physical system for enabling controlling and/or classifying the physical system. The method may include applying an encoder function for mapping sensor data to a latent representation of a state of the physical system. The encoder function may include one or more neural networks configured for extracting multiple objects from the sensor data and for mapping the multiple objects to the latent space.
