Abstract

Systems and methods for a fire suppression system are provided. Aspects include receiving, from a sensor (212; 242), environmental data associated with a location, determining a presence of a fire and a fire type based at least in part on the environmental data associated with the location, operating a fire suppression system (200; 200a; 200b) in a plurality of modes based on the presence of the fire and the fire type, wherein the plurality of modes comprise a normal fire operation mode and a hazardous fire operation mode.
