Abstract

A lubrication system (120) for an attritable engine (100) includes a bearing chamber, a fluid filtering inlet (124) configured to receive a fluid, and a fluid filtering outlet (126) located downstream of the fluid filtering inlet (124) and configured to deliver the fluid to the bearing chamber. The lubrication system (120) also includes a lattice (128), integral and conformal with the attritable engine (100), configured to filter the fluid, and located between the fluid filtering inlet (124) and the fluid filtering outlet (126). The lubrication system (120) also includes a metering port (134), configured to meter the fluid and located downstream of the lattice (128) and upstream of the fluid filtering outlet (126).
