Abstract

The method relates to a method for annotating data points (151, 161) in a data set, where the method comprises:obtaining (S1) a set of data points associated with an environment sampled by a vehicle sensor (110); anddetermining (S2) a static model (200, 300) of the environment based on the set of data points, wherein the static model of the environment comprises a collection of local statistical models. The method further comprises:obtaining (S3) a new data point associated with the environment;associating (S4) the new data point to a corresponding local statistical model comprised in the static model of the environment; andannotating (S5) the new data point as a stable data point in case the new data point agrees with the corresponding local statistical model.
