Abstract

An equipment (1) and a method (1') for estimating motor parameters comprise receiving an operating parameter (ud,q, id,q, ωe) of an electric motor, estimating an estimated first motor parameter (ψPM,1) based on the operating parameter (ud,q, id,q, ωe) and on an initially determined second motor parameter (Rs,0) and estimating an estimated second motor parameter (Rs,1) based on the operating parameter (Ud,q, id,q, ωe) and on an initially determined first motor parameter (ωPM,0). The equipment (1) and the method (1') further comprise estimating a revised estimated second motor parameter (Rs,2) based on the estimated first motor parameter (ψPM,1) and on the operating parameter (Ud,q, id,q, ωe), and estimating a revised estimated first motor parameter (ψPM,2) based on the estimated second motor parameter (Rs,1) and on the operating parameter (Ud,q, id,q, ωe).
