Abstract

Various embodiments of a stimulus security access device of the present disclosure encompass a stimuli generator (30), one or more physiological sensors (31) and an enhanced security access controller (40) for authenticating or invalidating a security access request. In operation, the stimuli generator (30) is actuated to generate external stimuli whereby the physiological sensor(s) (31) sense(s) a physiological response to the external stimuli. The enhanced security access controller (40) detects one of a stimulated physiological response to the external stimuli sensed by the physiological sensor(s) (31) or a non-stimulated physiological response to the external stimuli sensed by physiological sensor (s) (31) whereby the enhanced security access controller (40) either conditionally authenticates the security access request based on a detection of the stimulated physiological response to the external stimuli, or invalidates the security access request based on a detection of the non-stimulated physiological response to the external stimuli.
