Abstract

The present invention relates to a method (700) for installation of a grid of profiles of a ceiling system. The method comprising: In sequence illuminating (702), by a projector (104), different sub sets of a set of optical sensors (112a-d, 212a-d, S1, S2) separately arranged in a known distribution pattern on a structural ceiling surface (102). Each optical sensor (112a-d, 212a-d, S1, S2) of the set of optical sensors (112a-d, 212a-d, S1, S2) being arranged to output a temporal signal (TS1, TS2) indicative of a level of illumination. Determining (704) an image plane relative to the projector (104) based on the known distribution pattern and the outputted temporal signals (TS1, TS2) of each of the optical sensors (112a-d, 212a-d, S1, S2). Displaying (706), by the projector (104), an image (122, 222, 322) indicative of installation locations (120, 220) of the primary profiles at the image plane.
