Abstract

The subject application relates to a device (100) for loading/unloading parts on and from trays 150.The device (100) comprises a storage area (110), at least one tray transporter (140), a loading/unloading area (120), a sliding area (130), a first lifter (121), a second lifter (122) and a controller.The controller is configured to cooperatively control the first lifter (121) and the second lifter (122) to move to the predetermined position, such that, at a given moment, both the first lifter (121) and the second lifter (122) support the tray transporter (140) at the same time.And the controller is further configured to control the second lifter (122) to remove and recover the tray transporter (140) from the first lifter (121), such that, at another given moment, only the second lifter (122) supports the tray transporter (140).The devices and methods according to the subject application provides numerous advantageous over the known devices, as the cycle time is optimized without having to use several manipulators and/or several areas for loading/unloading parts at the same time.
