Abstract

A seal configuration (100) for an aircraft engine includes a ring shaped sealing component (110) defining an axis. A carrier (120) is disposed radially outward of the ring shaped sealing component (110) and supports the ring shaped sealing component (110). A housing (130) includes a shroud portion (132). The shroud portion (132) fully surrounds the carrier (120) and is maintained in a static position relative to the carrier (120) via a bellows spring (140) and a plurality of rotation inhibiting features. Each rotation inhibiting feature in the plurality of rotation inhibiting features includes a tab (122) protruding radially outward from the carrier (120) and received in a slot (134) intruding into the shroud portion (132).
