Abstract

A lighting control system comprises a luminaire illuminating a workstation. A lighting control device is configured to communicate lighting control commands to said luminaire during periods when a computer device is locally coupled. The lighting control device operates as, or in connection with, a docking station at said workstation. The lighting control device detects activity indications indicative of computer use at said workstation and transmits activity transmissions to said at least one luminaire during said periods. The activity transmissions are indicative of the extent to which said computer device of the user is used according to said activity indications.
