Abstract

Support rack (1) for plate-shaped objects comprising two or more plate-shaped support elements (2) having a bottom edge and having a top edge (5) comprising first and second edge portions (8,9), the second edge portions (9) being horizontal or sloping at a first angle (β) of 25° or less, the first edge portions (8) forming a second angle (α) of 25° or less relative to vertical, the support rack (1) comprising first and second connecting slats (3,4) extending in the longitudinal direction (I) and connecting the support elements (2), wherein the first connecting slats (3) are attached to a first edge portion (8) at a position higher than the lowest point of the second edge portions (9), the second connecting slats (4) being attached to the bottom edge (6), wherein the support elements (2) are connected only by the first and second connecting slats.
