Abstract
The present application relates to a valve assembly (10). The valve assembly has a housing (20) and a valve shaft (40) rotatable in the housing. A sensor assembly (50) detects the position of the valve shaft (40). The sensor assembly has an indicator (70) on the housing; and a position sensor (60) on the valve shaft (40) configured to detect a feature of the indicator to determine the position of the valve shaft (40).
