Abstract
The invention relates to a control system for an optical coherence tomography imaging system for real-time imaging of a subject), the subject including a tissue material of interest, the control system being configured to: control the optical coherence tomography imaging system to scan the subject by means of optical coherence tomography for acquiring intensity scan data, and process the intensity scan data to provide image data to be visualized on display means, wherein for a selected range (Rs) of intensity (I), correlated to the tissue material of interest, the image data is determined based on a selected conversion scale (Ss) that is different from a conversion scale (So) for intensity outside the selected range (Rs), to an OCT imaging system and a corresponding method.
