Abstract

Disclosed are a crop growth measurement system and method, the crop growth measurement system including: an image taker configured to obtain a plurality of images of a target crop at different positions while moving at preset intervals with respect to the target crop of which the growth index is desired to be calculated; and an image processor configured to register the plurality of images of the target crop at the different positions into a single image for the target crop.Thus, a crop growth index can be accurately calculated based on images, without using a plurality of cameras, a depth camera or the like expensive image taking device.
