Abstract

A display system (2) which is to be installed in a straddled vehicle (1), includes: a display unit (20); and a communication unit (22) which is communicably connected to a portable terminal (30). The display system (2) is configured to: switch a display mode of the display unit (20) to a first display mode or a second display mode in response to an operation performed by a rider on a handle switch (3) of the vehicle (1); display a meter display picture (100) representing running information of the vehicle (1) on the display unit (20) in the first display mode; and display the meter display picture (100) and a launcher display picture (130) on the display unit (20) in the second display mode. At least a portion of a plurality of icons (132a to 132e) is displayed in the launcher display picture (130) so as to be arranged in a certain direction. Each of the icons is associated with a function of the portable terminal (30) or a function of the vehicle (1).
